The Giant White Habanero is sure to be one of your favorite peppers. It has a very unique off white color and citrus taste make this a must grow in our garden. Pods can exceed 2″ in diameter with nice smooth thick walls. Heat is low for even a habanero but the flavor more than makes up for the lack lack of heat.
This pepper was originally obtained by a pepper farmer from Italy named Luigi Mauriello. The Habanero White Giant or Giant White Habanero is a variety that he found at an Italian trader around 1992-1993.
Makes great hot sauce, spicy chili powder, or great in a pot of chili.
