Yellow Trinidad Moruga Scorpion was developed from the Trinidad Scorpion. The peppers have a wrinkled bumpy texture to the skin. The Red Trinidad Moruga Scorpion was declared the world’s hottest pepper in February 2012! It lost that title to the Carolina Reaper in November 2013. This is an insanely hot pepper and when consuming one of these peppers, the heat level kicks in immediately and will linger for several minutes.
Makes great hot sauce, spicy chili powder, or great in a pot of chili.
