Never fear you will receive one whole frozen chicken on a weekly basis, this will inlcude one of our ultra premium Bresse on one week and one of our Heirloom breeds on the next. We will continue this rotation until the end of your subscription. Subscribe at anytime. Great for those who consider theirselves a foodie or just prefer humanely raised chickens. The Bresse is a very suculant and flavorful table bird that is native to France and considered the finest chicken you can eat. The heirloom breeds will have a richer * bolder chicken flavor which would remind you of what your grandpa probably raised. Neither bird reminds you of a grocery store cornish cross hybrid which has a much blander taste.
While commercial broilers are bred for fast growth and high yield, many heritage breeds are slower-growing and have a more naturally developed, denser muscle structure that can have more protein. For example, one study found that Darag native chicken meat was higher in protein than commercial broilers.

How It Works:
Imagine picking up farm fresh chicken straight from the farm that produced them. Not those grocery store bland chickens that have been raised strictly for profit. Pick up 1 frozen chicken once a week for a total of 12 weeks. If you need more than one per week, then purchase up to 5 subscriptions. Your first pick-up is normally with-in 2 to 4 weeks.
Chickens not picked up will not be refunded
