Description
Holiday is considered the ultimate dessert apple. White juicy flesh is moderately tart with a fruity, spicy flavor and tender, firm, breaking texture. Does not keep well. Circa 1964, it was introduced by the Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station as a cross between Jonathan by Macoun.
