Flavor Grenade is an unusual-looking fruit, but with an amazing flavor. It features good size with a crunchy texture kind of like an apple. Even at full ripeness, it still has an unmistakable crunch. True to it’s name, this green Pluot® is oblong in shape and has explosive flavor just like a grenade, tropical-sweet at 22 ºBrix. It has pink to red blush that is more pronounced in colder climates. Flavor Grenade hangs on the tree for up to 4 to 6 weeks.
