The Beaver Dam pepper is am amazing Capsicum annuum pepper.It comes from Wisconsin, and was brought there by Hungarian immigrant Joe Hussli in 1912. It is also listed in the Slow Food Foundation’s “Ark of Taste”, and is the subject of an annual festival held in Beaver Dam every September. They are 6-9 inches long and 2.5-3 inches wide.
